Role: Electrician

Job Description:

Lennon Solar is one of the leading installers of Solar PV in Ireland. We are currently recruiting an Experienced Electrician to join our team of renewable energy experts. Applicants must be RECI Qualified and preferably completed the Solar/PV/Micro-Gen course.

The Role:

Installing new solar PV systems throughout Ireland as part of a team. Work with the Installation manager to monitor and upgrade systems. Installing and testing the viability of new technologies in domestic and industrial settings. Carry out electrical upgrades to domestic electricity services. Complete work in the allocated time, maintaining a high standard of work. Understand and adhere to SEAI code of conduct in relation to installations (full initial and ongoing training provided). Provide project sign off and photographs to our office support team for processing. Take responsibility for Health and Safety at all times.

The Candidate:

RECI or ECSSA certified electrician Experience with solar PV preferably with QQI Level 6 Solar/PV/Micro-Gen qualification.

Have a strong work ethic and good client interaction skills.

At least 5 years experience working as a qualified electrician in a domestic setting.

Ability to use initiative and to work as part of a team.

Looking for an opportunity to build their experience with Solar and other technological upgrades.

Strong technical understanding of domestic electrical systems.

Knowledge of heat pump installation would be advantages.

Willing to learn new skills and engage in ongoing training.

Strong communication skills (oral and written). Excellent attention to detail.
